Ideas for membership growth and retention

District 12 is doing a book club discussion group to engage current and prospective members.
March 19, 2023 from 7 – 9 PM MTNIn “Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed by Men” Caroline Criado-Pérez investigates the root cause of gender inequality, diving into women’s lives at home, the workplace, the public square, the doctor’s office, and more. This is the second book selection of the Zonta Says NOW-District 12 movement, organized by the AEGE (Action for Environment and Gender Equality) committee. You do not need to have read the book to join – we will share insights and look at ways we can combat data bias. This chat is cosponsored by the grassroots Women’s STEM Careers of Southern Colorado committee founded by Zonta Club of the Pikes Peak Area. All are welcome to attend! To register please click here. Once you register, a Zoom link will be sent to you the morning of the event. The work of Zonta Says NOW – District 23 (Australia) inspired the formation of the AEGE committee. See our webpage, where we provide specific resources for climate action and gender equality issues for use by Zonta clubs in District 12 (Colorado, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming) and beyond, as well as the community at large.
